BJJ Vision AI is operated by Hazcott Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BJJ Vision AI mobile application and related services (the "App") provided by Hazcott Limited ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

BJJ Vision AI is an iOS application that lets you submit Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and related training footage for automated AI analysis. The App may convert selected portions of your footage into image frames for cloud processing and use trusted third-party providers, including OpenAI and Supabase, to generate roll analysis, position breakdowns, transition insights, coaching-style feedback, training recommendations, and related features.

Your full video generally remains on your device. Analysis is performed using extracted frames and the minimum related data reasonably required to provide the service. Entire video files are not sent to AI providers for standard analysis.

The App is a training tool. It does not replace instruction from a qualified coach, academy, or medical professional, and does not create any coaching, advisory, or professional relationship. Analysis results are generated automatically and may vary based on video quality, camera angle, lighting, framing, and other factors.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Content and Permissions

You retain ownership of the videos and other content you upload or create through the App ("User Content"). By submitting footage or other content for analysis, you confirm and represent that:

  • You own the content or otherwise have permission to use, upload, and analyse it
  • You have obtained all consents required by applicable law from anyone visible or identifiable in the footage
  • Your content does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights

By submitting User Content for analysis, you grant BJJ Vision AI permission to process extracted frames and related data solely to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the App and its analysis features.

You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload, record, or submit through the App. We do not verify ownership, permissions, consent, or the legality of any uploaded footage or other User Content.

4. Acceptable Use and Supported Content

The App is intended for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, grappling, wrestling, submission grappling, and related training footage such as rolling, sparring, drilling, or similar martial arts practice. Unrelated videos may be blocked, rejected, or not analysed.

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose
  • Upload content you do not have permission to use, or content that is unrelated to permitted training footage
  • Automate access to the App or its systems
  • Scrape data, content, or output from the App except as expressly permitted
  • Exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended behaviour to gain unauthorised access or benefit
  • Interfere with, disrupt, overload, probe, or otherwise impair the operation of the App, its infrastructure, backend systems, or related services
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover models, prompts, algorithms, analysis systems, source code, or internal logic except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law
  • Bypass free analysis limits, daily limits, monthly limits, fair usage limits, subscriptions, payment systems, or other access controls
  • Use the App in a way that creates unreasonable cost, security, or operational risk
  • Rely on analysis output as a substitute for professional coaching, medical advice, legal advice, or safety guidance

5. Fair Usage and Usage Limits

To protect service availability, prevent misuse, and manage operational costs, BJJ Vision AI may apply usage limits and restrictions. These may include, without limitation, free analysis limits, daily limits, monthly limits, fair usage limits, anti-abuse restrictions, and emergency service restrictions.

Limits may apply differently to free and paid users and may change over time as the service evolves. We may enforce limits by blocking, queueing, rejecting, or restricting analyses, accounts, devices, or features where reasonably necessary.

Attempting to bypass or circumvent usage limits, entitlements, or protective controls is prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of access.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

BJJ Vision Pro provides expanded access to roll analyses and related paid features while your subscription is active and valid. Paid subscriptions are handled through the Apple App Store. Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are managed through Apple according to its applicable terms and policies.

Pro access depends on a valid subscription entitlement verified through Apple and our subscription management providers, including RevenueCat. You may restore purchases through the App where available. If your subscription lapses, is cancelled, or cannot be verified, paid features may become unavailable.

Free-tier usage may remain subject to usage limits even when paid plans are available. We may change pricing, features, plan availability, or usage limits with notice where required by applicable law or platform rules. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund disputes relating to App Store purchases are handled by Apple.

7. AI Analysis Disclaimer

BJJ Vision AI uses automated artificial intelligence systems to generate roll analysis, coaching-style feedback, position breakdowns, transitions, recommendations, and related insights. This processing is automated and does not involve human review of your footage as part of the standard analysis workflow.

AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, inconsistent, delayed, or wrong. Results are provided for training assistance only. They are not professional coaching, medical advice, legal advice, safety guidance, or any other professional service.

Output may be affected by video quality, camera angle, lighting, framing, movement, and other factors outside our control. You must independently evaluate all analysis, feedback, summaries, and recommendations before acting on them. You remain solely responsible for how you train, interpret, apply, or act on any information provided through the App.

8. Training and Physical Activity Risks

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, martial arts, grappling, sparring, and other physical activities involve inherent risks. Injuries, serious injury, permanent injury, and death may occur regardless of skill level, experience, supervision, or training environment.

You voluntarily participate in training activities at your own risk. You assume full responsibility for how you apply information provided through the App to your training, technique, conditioning, and participation in martial arts or related activities.

The App does not provide medical, rehabilitation, injury-prevention, health, or safety advice, and does not provide emergency instructions or professional supervision. You should consult qualified professionals where appropriate before engaging in training activities or making health-related decisions.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, software, branding, and curated content, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary materials except as needed to use the App as intended.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of information, including account data, extracted frames, analysis results, and related processing information, is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Service Availability

We strive to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation, or that any particular feature or analysis will remain available at any given time.

Analysis and related features may be delayed, unavailable, suspended, or restricted due to maintenance, updates, outages, usage limits, abuse prevention measures, emergency service restrictions, or failures affecting third-party providers such as OpenAI, Supabase, Apple, or RevenueCat, as well as other events beyond our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, rate limit, block, or discontinue any part of the App or its features, and may block accounts or devices, where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, maintain service stability, protect infrastructure, manage operational costs, enforce these Terms, investigate misuse, comply with legal obligations, or protect users, third parties, or our rights, subject to applicable law and platform requirements.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend, restrict, rate limit, block, or terminate your access to the App, in whole or in part, and may block accounts or devices or remove content, where reasonably necessary.

Without limiting the foregoing, we may take such action if you abuse the service, attempt to bypass usage limits or entitlements, upload unlawful or unauthorised content, interfere with backend systems or related infrastructure, automate or misuse access to the App, or use the App in a way that creates unreasonable cost, security, or operational risk.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANALYSIS RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR TRAINING OUTCOME.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HAZCOTT LIMITED AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, TRAINING OUTCOMES, OR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED OUTPUT ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, UPLOADED CONTENT, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, OR PLATFORM MISUSE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP OR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) £50, EXCEPT WHERE APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES A HIGHER OR UNLIMITED AMOUNT.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other matter where exclusion or limitation is prohibited. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other mandatory consumer protection laws.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Hazcott Limited and its affiliates harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your content, your training activities, your reliance on AI-generated output, service interruptions, subscription-related disputes to the extent arising from your conduct, misuse of the platform, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by applicable law.
